You know if we can travel faster than light, we can look at the past?? Ohh.. Ya.. This is just an example.. 1 light year is the distance light can travel in 1 year.. Lets say there is a planet that is 1000 light years away and you can travel there instantly while light will take 1000 years to reach there, then what you see on the planet about earth is what is happening 1000 years ago..
