Weekend simply pass so fast. I have not even relaxed yet and its gone already.
Recently, weekend seem even more busy than weekdays. I sleep later than usual and a wake up only slightly later than usual. But I did manage to catch a short nap on saturday and sunday. 1-2 hours of nap. Its not enough enough to clear my weekdays sleep debt. But its still better than nothing. I guess I must wait for 2 more weeks and the chinese new year long long weekend will be here.
Hope to spend more time with my mummy, daddy and the M&M. haha.. Nua-ing. And I can't find time to shop too.. Some of my stuff are spoiling. No time and no money too.
But i conquered two feats this weekend!!! Firstly I finally passed my driving test... wooohoooooooooooooooooooooooooo..
Secondly, I manage to replace the leaking tap in the toilet. With some help from my sister. It makes me feel slightly more like an engineer. hahahahha.. with some hands on work.. Ok it's nothing difficult, but I'm happy that I learnt some small and beneficial skills.
In Singapore, I see majority of the kids/youths that are live in comfort of the parents and eventually not knowing much about all the small details at home. e.g. setting up wireless, changing taps, cleaning air con, changing the florensence tube, how to paint the house etc etc. I still think its best to be independent though if one has a choice, it is definitely more comfortable to just rely on others.
That's the problem and also the good thing about my family. Cos i'm usually the one who need to solve these problems at home. I get to learn! haha.
Glad that there is google and I can actually watch video, and learn how to change a tap and there is hwz that has a forum teaching how to turn off the main water header of the house. It makes learning much more easy.

Finally passed my driving!!
It's a terrible experience. Heart just keep pounding throughout the test. Even after.
Expensive experience too.. Its worse that the a half an hour roller coaster.

There have been so many gathering recently that I cant really find time for all of them. I dunno why it's all gathering over this few weeks.
I seems like after I started working, I cant seem to find sufficient time for personal stuff. So much so that it eats into my sleep time. And this situation occurs even when I leave office on time at like 520. Can't imagine how it will be like if my work requires frequent OT.
Time just pass so fast that I would actually want to spend money to buy time. for example taking cab to save time. (Not that I have a lot of money but it seems to be a good solution) To me, time is probably THE thing that I won't mind spending money to buy. I'll rather sacrifice money, than my family, my time doing v minimal exercises, my time with friends, my time with M&M, etc etc. That sounds like a good excuse to keep taking cab/buy a car right. Lol.

it's been a long time since i updated my blog. Nothing much changed in these days. Work has been challenging but not busy. Not the exact job that i would like to have but it's fine. I can stay here foe another year or so before i rotate out of the department. My boss is nice n friendly but maybe a bit too friendly. Pay is good, i'm satisfied. Enough to live comfortably n pay off my study loan a little a month.
Just came back from a short trip to malaysia. Brought my mum there so that she can relax for a few day while my dad was placed in respite care. Somehow, it doesnt turn out to be v nice whenever he goes to nursing home for respite. The previous time he came out with high fever landing him in ttsh for a week. Now he came out with a dislocated shoulder. -.-"
So now, i'm again back to the familiar ttsh. I really hate hospitals but somehow, but somehow i seem to frequent here. I admire doctors. Really admire them. It's not easy to work in places full of despair n sadness. Though it could be full of hope too. But with higher hope, u might end up feeling worse.
So i really respect all the staff here.
