Did anyone realised that the crowd out on the streets are getting quite ridiculous for the past few days?
I do frequent town, but for the past few days, places like Bencoolen, Vivo, etc are much much worse than town. Is it just coincidental that the places I visited are much more crowded than they used to be? Or is it bcos EVERYONE in singapore is out doing shopping. Hurhur.. Even OG at Bencoolen.. I got to rub shoulders with one person every like 10m. Oh mineeeeee.. I gotta find a more quiet place to visit. I hate crowds.
I did the tank inventory exercise today.. I got to climbed up tanks ranging from 30+ feet to over 70ft. All in all, 7 tanks of average height of 50+ft. Tiring!! Its not only the climbing up of the tank, its the crawling through the big and small pipings to make it to the stairway of the tank even before the actual climbing starts. In addition, there is this pail that we have to carry with all the measuring instruments in it.. And the pail is heavy. I wont say its v v heavy. But imagine 3kg over 6storeys. And also with the heavy oversized safety boots. Oh man!!
Good training. Hurhur..
Besides the physical training I got, I really thought its a good experience. The technicians are friendly and helpful. They answered my questions straight to the point and are v willing to share their knowledge. Actually there are flaunting off their knowledge. But its good. Really.
Its the first time I got my hands dirty and really do the actual field work. I have been cooped up in the office trying to do cost estimate, but I do think that I belong more to the field. Prob I'm more suitable as an technician than an engineer.
Ok another 2 years before I can decide if I need a change.

I hate to deal with people who likes to deal with politics and see colleagues as competitors.
